Today I am kicking off my 12 Days of Style series on my YouTube channel.

As for this OOTD, I was inspired by Taylor Swift's fall fashion. NYC did that girl good, her style is just on point lately! Actually it's more like if Taylor Swift befriended Blair Waldorf and they went shopping. OMG CAN WE MAKE THIS HAPPEN? 

(Only in my dreams *sigh*)

 My style is so odd, I am such a lover of girly pastels and lace but there is also a part of me that just adores vampy lips and dark plaids. I actually went thrifting the other day hoping I would find a plaid coat like this and apparently the goodwill gods were on my side. This is possibly the coat of an old man but I just loved it too much to say no. (YAY VINTAGE!) My sweater is again another vintage find that was given to me by my friend, Lauren. Who doesn't like old grandma sweaters!? To make this look a little more modern I paired it with this gorgeous light brown suede skirt. The scalloping is what got me on this piece, I'm a sucker for a good scallop. (not the seafood, ick, the detail on the skirt people!) To pull this look together with a pop of color I paired some bright maroon tights with my favorite oxford booties. For a preppy polish, I had to include a cute collar and a headband.

And then I hugged a tree... so yeah.
