My New Job ♥

Exciting news!!! I got a new job as a fashion buyer for Crossroads Trading Co. :)

I could not be happier about this job.

Don't get me wrong, I love Target and I still am keeping that on the backburner but I am so excited for my future with this company. So for those of you who don't know, Crossroads is a clothing and accessory trade store, much like a Plato's Closet or Freestyle. We purchase gently used or new higher end and on trend pieces. Being that I am a Fashion Merchandising major, this job could not be any more perfect for me. I get to learn more about the merchandising aspect and what will and won't sell to our customers which is something I find so interesting. Also, I will be buyer trained which is fantastic because later on in life I would love to be a fashion buyer for a major retailer. PLUS they put me in charge of dressing the mannequins weekly.... which basically means I get to drop what I'm doing and create outfits, yeeee :)

As if that isn't enough I get first hand access to a lot of the new stuff coming into the store, which means goodbye paycheck hahaha. Lastly, everyone I work with is so kind and welcoming. Being that I am somewhat shy and socially awkward, it made the transition so much easier knowing the workers and managers were so nice. I love getting to dress up and being actually excited whenever I go to work!
